Juego de comedor lacado / Lacquered dining set

Las mezclas son lo mio: una silla actual, una mesa inspirada en los 60, una parte de mi propia inspiración y ta-chán tenemos un conjunto de comedor en blanco y negro.

Las sillas son una réplica en madera de la Type Cast Chair (2013) de Philippe Malouin El original es en aluminio o hierro y con unos preciosos acabados creados por el proceso de elaboración de la silla que yo no podía reproducir. Por lo tanto, juguemos con la imaginación. Me decidí por una reproducción en madera, que es lo mio, y un acabado lacado brillante.

Uno de las partes más bonitas de este trabajo fue curvar la madera del respaldo y que respondiese perfectamente a la forma deseada.

Mixing is my thing: a modern chair, a table inspired by the 60's, a part of my own inspiration and ta-da! we have a dining set in black and white!.

The chairs are a replica in wood of the Type Cast Chair (2013) by Philippe Malouin The original is in aluminum or iron and with a beautiful finish created by the very process of making the chair that I could not reproduce. Therefore, playing with my imagination I decided to make a reproduction in wood, which is my stuff, and I added a gloss lacquered finish.

One of the most beautiful parts of this work was to bend the wood of the back to obtain the desired shape.

Poul Kjærholm para la Sección danesa de la Trienal de Milán de 1960 y la he convertido en una mesa de comedor.


To accompany these chairs I made a table as a contrast. A large rectangular table lacquered in white. Simple but with an interesting detail in its legs. I have based myself on the platforms and tables that Poul Kjærholm created for the Danish Section of the Milan Triennale of 1960 and I have turned it into a dining table.
